Loren has proudly called Costa Mesa home for more than 40 years. He first came here as a young boy, when much of the city looked very different than it does today. He grew up exploring its neighborhoods, watching it evolve, and developing a lifelong appreciation for the community he now proudly serves. It was here that Loren met and fell in love with his wife. Together, they built their life in Costa Mesa and continue raising their family here, deepening the roots that have connected them to this community for decades. Through every chapter, one thing has remained the same: a commitment to showing up, listening, and putting boots on the ground for Costa Mesa.

For more than 30 years, Loren has dedicated his career to educating and mentoring individuals pursuing careers in building inspection. He has helped countless students build successful careers by emphasizing safety, integrity, and excellence in the building industry.

His students have ranged from young adults beginning their careers to seasoned professionals expanding their knowledge. Through his work as a building inspection educator, Loren has helped prepare the skilled professionals who build, inspect, and maintain the communities infrastructure we depend on.
Loren is a Master of Special Inspection through the International Code Council (ICC), one of the industry’s highest professional credentials. His commitment to learning doesn’t stop there. He continues to expand his expertise by earning additional certifications so he can provide the most current knowledge to the students and professionals he mentors.
